We were established in 1983, Texas Wings Flying Club, AMA Charter Club #1521 for the enjoyment and promotion of the hobby of building and flying Radio Controlled Model Aircraft. Club membership has typically averaged 100 members, each from a diverse background of professions, including the aviation and aviation electronics Industries. Texas Wings offers a relaxed, family-oriented membership that focuses on 'sport flying', promoting the hobby through community involvement, commitment to flight-training, and support of new aeromodelers. We participate in community events at local air-shows, museums, and educational facilities to promote the awareness of the sport of radio controlled aircraft. Please feel free to stop by the field while members are flying and enjoy the hobby.
