Public Flight Training

Flight Training Notice: If there is a forecast of severe weather for north Fort Worth/ (Tarrant/Wise county as we are on the border) and or winds forecast in excess of 25 mph, training will be canceled.  Every effort will be made to post an announcement on the website.                        
Texas Wings Flying Club Free Public Flight Training:

Daylight saving time starts Sunday March 12th, 2017. That means we enter our training season starting March 15th.
Let's get ready to go flying !

We welcome anyone who is interested or has youngsters interested in flying Radio Controlled Airplanes to come on out.

Free Public Flight Training at Texas Wings Flying Club Field - Newark, Texas.

Starts at 5:30 PM and lasts until dusk (or until the instructors tire out) every Wednesday afternoon, weather permitting, during daylight saving time.

Here is your chance to try radio control (R/C) airplane flying before you have to buy the equipment or have to join the AMA. All you have to do is show up on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 PM until dark at our club flying field to get your free flight training. We supply all the required equipment, you just come have fun learning to fly R/C airplanes with our AMA Registered Flight Instructors. We hope to see you soon, come join the fun of model airplane flying!
